The best thing about working at Bikerumor is:

We get to “work” doing our favorite thing: riding bikes.

When we’re not working, we’re:

Riding bikes! ...and also camping, training for enduro races, traveling with our families,

What we’re reading:

“Talking to Strangers” by Malcom Gladwell, “Being Mortal” by Atul Gawande, “Lies we tell ourselves” by Robin Talley, “Earth’s Children” by Jean Auel, “Mr. Mercedes” by Stephen King

What we’re listening to:

Lots of podcasts (How I Built This, The Dollop, Code Switch, the Bikerumor podcast of course....), Drive-by Truckers, Fiona Apple’s new album “Fetch the Bolt Cutters”

If they made a movie about our workplace, it would be called:

Chaos & Clutter, or, It’s Just Like Riding A Bike.

Inclusion in the outdoors matters because:

The cycling industry has been grappling with its identity lately, and we won’t be able to see a clear path forward without acknowledging and celebrating our diversity. It’s important for everyone to feel welcome, and we want to do our part.

Five years down the line, it’s our hope that:

We’ve been an active part in making diversity in cycling “seen” by presenting WTF and BIPOC businesses and cyclists in our media. We recognize that our point of view is not representative of everyone, and we will work to have more diverse voices writing for us. Bikerumor was built on a love of all things cycling, and we want to share that with everyone by showing that it is for everyone.
