The Culture

The best thing about working at IMBA is:

Partnering with people who share our love for mountain biking and trails while immersing ourselves in so many communities, landscapes and experiences. It all leads to more and better trails. Being a part of that impact and seeing success fuels everyone’s passion.

When we’re not working, we’re:

Riding mountain bikes, taking our kids on rides, planning our next ride, working on our bikes, volunteering with our local trail groups...we make time for pizza and ice cream in there too.

What we’re reading:

Prisoners of Geography - Ten Maps That Explain Everything About the World; The Open Space of Democracy; An Indigenous Peoples' History of the United States; Paul Revere's Ride.

What we’re listening to:

We’re a little bit country, a little bit rock n’ roll. And a lot a bit Run the Jewels. If staff pooled their record library, Tool and Metallica might need their own shelf.

If they made a movie about our workplace, it would be called:

“Transformers 5: Future Trails”

Inclusion in the outdoors matters because:

Time outdoors is essential for healthy hearts, bodies and minds. Everyone should have access to inspiring outdoor experiences. Everyone should find a safe, welcoming community through trails.

Five years down the line, it’s our hope that:

Everyone has more trails close to home, and the community on the trails is welcoming and reflective of the diversity in our country.
