The best thing about working at wondery is:

It’s a collaborative environment built on relationships. We ask everyone for their opinions. We believe that by developing and fostering a community that both our staff and our audience love will lead to a positive, organic community experience. Oh, and we go rock climbing and go to Dave & Busters every now and then.

When we’re not working, we’re:

Rock climbing, at Dave & Busters, or camping.

What we’re reading:

7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Giftology, The Beauty Myth, The Tale of Genji, Good Omens

What we’re listening to:

A Conversation With, Morning Toast, Conan O’Brian Needs A Friend, Entrepreneurs on Fire, Small Doses with Amanda Seales, Philosophy in our Time, Office Ladies

If they made a movie about our workplace, it would be called:

The Office on TV during Lunch break every single day (our creative juices aren’t flowing).

Inclusion in the outdoors matters because:

It’s cliche, but we need to represent everyone that is outside, as well as those who desire to get outside. Why is it that more than 50% of the population is not being represented in the outdoors? An environment essential to human well-wondery. est. 2016 being. We need to bring awareness to and provide resources to the diverse set of women who wish to seek outdoor spaces - we need to provide opportunity.

Five years down the line, it’s our hope that:

Wondery becomes the leading brand for resources and community for women in the outdoors - not just lifestyle clothing, but jackets to embrace the cold, leaders to provide education to the women who desire to go backpacking, stories to share of other women tackling areas only deemed for men, and so much more.
