The best thing about working at kari Traa is:
The brand strongly encourages a happier, healthier, and stronger lifestyle. So whether you play outdoors, or not, you should always find time to do activities that make you happy.
When we’re not working, we’re:
Usually spending time on activities that remind us why we love working in the outdoor industry.
What We’re Reading:
Cheryl Strayed’s 2012 Memoir “Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail”
What we’re listening to:
Goop | Women’s podcast. Female-focused, self-help, improvement.
If they made a movie about our workplace, it would be called:
Girls will be girls; Sorry we’re not sorry
Inclusion in the outdoors matters because:
Nature doesn’t judge who we are, so we shouldn’t judge who wants to enjoy nature.
Five years down the line, it’s our hope that:
No one will feel unwelcome when applying for an open position within the industry. We have to start at the root of the problem which is making sure everyone feels welcome to explore nature and the outdoors. Those who explore the outdoors feel more inclined to work in the industry and gain the right experience to apply.
