The Culture

The best thing about working at NEMBA is:

The Chapters. I get to work with 29 chapters throughout New England. All have their own flavor. The chapter leadership and key volunteers are inspirational. The amount that has been accomplished in the past 3 decades is amazing. Mountain biking has been directly benefited from the efforts of NEMBA members.

When we’re not working, we’re:

Playing bikes in the woods!

What we’re reading:

A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson

What we’re listening to:

Front Lines MTB Podcast

If they made a movie about your workplace, it would be called:

SingleTracks

Inclusion in the outdoors matters because:

We are a community that grows stronger with diversity. Our goal is to make mountain biking accessible to all. To build a community that is as unique as the variety of bikes available. If we design with intent, we can build amazing things.

Five years down the line, it’s our hope that:

We can celebrate trails for all. We hope that anyone who wants to get out and ride feels welcomed and encouraged to do so. In five years, we hope that the outdoor community is more diverse and inclusive than ever before.
